Sookasa doesn't work! What should I do?

We understand it can be frustrating when things aren't working and there can be a number of things causing Sookasa to malfunction. Here are a few simple quick fixes that may resolve your issues when Sookasa just isn't working right.

 

Exit the Sookasa desktop application

Windows

1. Right-click the Sookasa icon in the system tray (bottom right of your desktop next to the clock) and select "Exit Sookasa"

2. Relaunch Sookasa by going to the Start menu > All Programs > Sookasa folder > double-click the Sookasa icon.

Mac

1. Click on the Sookasa icon in the menu bar (top right of your desktop next to the clock) and select "Quit Sookasa"

2. Relaunch Sookasa by going into Applications and double-click Sookasa.

 

Ensure you are using the latest version of Sookasa

The latest version of Sookasa will be the most stable, causing the least amount of problems.

Windows

1. Right-click the Sookasa icon in the system tray (bottom right of your desktop next to the clock) and select Preferences

2. On the General tab, click the "Check for Updates" button and Sookasa will show if you are running the latest version of Sookasa.

Mac

1. Click on the Sookasa icon in the menu bar (top right of your desktop next to the clock) and select "Preferences"

2. On the General tab, click the "Check for Updates" button and Sookasa will show if you are running the latest version of Sookasa.

 

Restart your computer

Sometimes a simple reboot is the answer. A reboot allows the computer to stop all processes and start fresh.
