My Dropbox won't finish syncing. What should I do?

If your Dropbox seems to continuously say it's busy syncing, or does not appear to be syncing all your files, try quitting and restarting Dropbox to resume syncing.

You can quit the Dropbox app by right-clicking the Dropbox icon in your menu bar or system tray. Select the gear icon and click Quit Dropbox. Then relaunch the Dropbox app to resume the sync.

i'm hating both dropbox and sookasa... I have quit both programs and have restarted it... I have uninstalled and reinstalled... I have now been syncing 3,945 files for a month and a half which is causing me to do twice the work because I have to email files to other co workers because they can't access my files that are not syncing... We will soon be saying good bye to both and moving to Gsuites... I"m done with not getting help from you all

Same problem here as Valerie has.  Tech support tried to resolve it.  I have quit and re-installed everything.  Support's Bottom Line was:  "We have a problem with Mojave OS and do not have a fix yet.....Just turn Sookasa off and DropBox will synch."  That is true and works but it's a pain and makes using this program questionable for me now because of the inconvenience of having to turn it off and on (and if at the end of the day you forget to turn Sookasa off I believe some DropBox files may not synch until the next day).  It would be helpful to hear if they are close to a fix!

I got these instructions from  a Sookasa rep in India:

Here are the steps to follow to get Sookasa working on macOS High Sierra:
If you have inadvertently installed a previous version onto your High Sierra OS, perform steps 1-7, otherwise begin at step 4.

    1. Please quit Sookasa application and DropXox applications.
    2. Remove Sookasa and DropBox
    3. Reboot your computer
    4. Install osxfuse package 3.10.2 from here:
    5. https://github.com/osxfuse/osxfuse/releases/download/osxfuse-3.10.2/osxfuse-3.10.2.dmg
    6. Install sookasa package attached in the below email.
    7. Start Sookasa from Applications
    8. Check if everything works and Share Securely Option showing up once you right click on a file in Sookasa Folder. If it's not showing up, open the Activity Monitor and restart Finder and SKFinderExtension.Activity Monitor - search for Finder and force quit "Finder"

I have followed the steps in Hacinto Moen's comment (received the same thing from tech support about an= different issue), and it didn't help. I'm having the same issue as Valerie & Jeffrey. I assume we just have to wait for a fix, whenever that may happen...

Nothing has worked that has been suggested.  I have chosen to stop using Sookasa because this new issue is creating too many complications.  Sad but true.

The only solution I have found is to quit Sookasa once I'm finished using encrypted files. Dropbox will then synch the files correctly, including any new files I added to Sookasa during the session.
